When I’m 64

I’ve been getting requests for details about  my dear friend Bonnie  and her complete recovery from Crohn’s disease, so here it is.

My story is one of great suffering from Crohn’s for 14 years.  Crohns disease is an inflammation of the digestive system – flu like symptoms all the time. Vomiting, diarrhea and fevers. I weighed 74-87 lbs most of the time.  Drs. really had no answers to get me well. But their treatment was to cut out part of my colon and drugs which had many side effects.  Then after many years of doctoring I was told that the next step was a colostomy .

The pain was almost unbearable.  But I was willing to try one last thing…Shaklee!

After taking what amounts to a Vitalizer and Soy Protein twice a day, I started on my journey back to health.  I could hardly believe the response that was happening inside of me.  I began to add Alfalfa and extra C and then extra E as I learned that the nutrients were safe.  They were unlike a drug, and I could take more with no side effects. Well I did take more and over the next few months, I got well. In three months I was off of all my drugs for the first time in 14 years.  It took me about 2 years to get completely well. My real belief is that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  When I built health into my body using REAL and PERFECT food the Crohn’s Disease went away.  For 15 years I have been well.

After I got well, food tasted pretty good to me and I started gaining weight. The picture on the left is from 2006 while on a Shaklee cruise and I weighed almost 140 lbs! On the right is me last month (April 15, 2012) weighing 102 lbs after losing over 30 lbs on the “Shaklee Cinch Plan”. I went from a size 10 to a size 2!

Please remember I am now 64 years old. God really gave me Shaklee.  It’s His way of healing the body and keeping it healed.
